Countdown to a Date
Pick an upcoming event or create your own countdown to any date and time. The counter shows the years, days, hours, minutes and seconds left and keeps running in your browser.
- Pick an event – Choose one of the upcoming events below – the counter starts immediately and jumps to next year's date once the day has passed.
- Or create your own – Click Create countdown, enter a title, the date and optionally the time. The countdown is saved in your browser and in the link, so you can share it or bookmark it.
- Read the counter – The counter shows only the units that are left – years, days, hours, minutes and seconds – with the target date underneath.

Frequently asked questions
How is the number of days calculated?
As whole days from now to the target date and time; the remainder is shown as hours, minutes and seconds. When the countdown spans more than a year, full years are shown separately.
Can I share a countdown?
Yes. After creating one, use the share button in the corner – the title, date and time are all in the link, no account needed.
What happens when the date passes?
Event counters switch to the next occurrence automatically. Your own countdown shows a message when it reaches zero.
